Fought for and won District of Columbia Conscience Clause Protection in the D.C. Appropriations bill.
Was the one who got language in the Foreign Operations Bill allowing President Bust to withhold United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) funding for China.
As a new Ranking Member of Labor / Health Human Services, got clarification that the Fiscal Year 09 stimulus dollars would be covered by pro-life riders.
Tasked his staff to join the pro-life team that watches out for pro-life riders and abortion funding in appropriations bills.
