TOPEKA - Kansans for Life PAC today announced their endorsement of Tim Huelskamp for the 1st District Congressional race.

According to Chris Martinez, KFL PAC Chairman: "Rarely does Kansans for Life PAC make endorsements this early, but Tim's stellar credentials, solid background, and consistent voting record deserve our immediate support.  We are proud of this endorsement, and enthusiastically support Tim Huelskamp in his efforts to bring his conservative Kansas values to the U.S. Congress."

For over a decade, Huelskamp has fought to defend the Right to Life in the Kansas state senate.  Tim and his wife Angela have also been active in assisting women in crisis pregnancies. Recently, Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee endorsed Huelskamp, writing: "Tim did not tell me he was pro-life, his record did."

"Tim Huelskamp has an impressive and admirable track record of fighting hard to defend the right to life.  He has a 100 percent pro-life voting record, and has consistently been the best friend we have had in the state senate," said Kathy Ostrowski, Legislative Director for Kansans for Life.

Huelskamp is the only candidate running for Congress in the first district to have made clear his opposition to the nomination of Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius as Secretary of Health and Human Services, because of her radical pro-abortion positions.  He has previously received the Daniel Award for Courageous Leadership from Kansans for Life.
